On December 1, 2008, the price of our Residential Basic 500 Minute Plan increased from $14.99 to $17.99. [SIZE=2]The new price will be reflected in your February 2009 bill.

I don't know about you but I'm just going to cancel vonage all together and use my cell phone. Packet8 still charges 14.99.

For anyone wondering, the unlimited residential plan is (for now) unchanged at $24.99.

That is what I pay and have not been informed of an increase!

We use Callcentric and have been very pleased. Our bill averages around 10.00 a month. We talk on the phone an average of about 400 minutes per month. (We chose the billing plan which charges you for incoming as well as outgoing calls--like cell phone billing, really)

I think that's right. The Vonage webpage already lists the new price for the 500 minute plan, but the unlimited plan still shows the old price.

I'm sure a price increase is inevitable...maybe we'll get another year's reprieve or so. When was the last increase on the unlimited plan?

I pay $2.95/Month using Skype for unlimited US/Canada... Might not work for everyone, but just my 2 cents.

With skype you need your computer to be on, not the most convenient. I looked into it too but also it had quality issues.

Yes unlimited plan remains the same. 2 bucks may not seem like a lot but why the increase? The internet is the same as it was. There are plenty of companies out there that I am willing to try....they have pay as you go etc. will try lingo.
