While I've known about this for a while.. but since I have to acquire one of these for a customer.. I wanted to point out to those that I always suggest EVDO too..

That a router exists (and has for a while) that allows you to plug in your aircard (I know it definitely works for sprint) unsure of other providers..

And this allows you to share your EVDO or 1xx internet wirelessly or by 4 ethernet ports.. it's actually possible to take this camping or even in your car (if you power it) and have internet with multiple laptops/what have you..

Here is what's looking like one of the coolest devices out there.. (cause it's support USB not just PCMCIA and ExpressCard) no I digress I don't need one.. but it's neat..

Most US EVDO providers have bandwidth caps, so it's probably a good device to have if your goal is to use up a monthly bandwidth allocation in a matter of hours. In other words, I think it's a little ahead of its time.

2+ providers don't have caps.. and I don't think it's ahead of its time.. real people use these somewhere.. I'm just not the type too.. but my client will..
