Which one of the social networking sites have you used to meet people in your city. Seeing as how both are geared for not only expressing oneself, they can also be used to meet new people when moving to a new city. Which one do you or have you used when relocating?
Personally I have used myspace more, but am curious what others have used as well.

well, I quit using myspace once it gave me a virus I can't seem to get rid of... but i haven't really used either one strictly to meet new people. I usually use Facebook to keep in contact with people that I have actually met in various places.

I use Facebook. I tried Myspace once three years ago but I just couldn't get into it.

I use both, but myspace is better than Facebook. Facebook is too plain and boring for me.

Interestingly I feel the opposite. I think Myspace is way too busy and cluttered. Even Facebook used to be too cluttered before they changed to the much-dispised (by everyone but me, it seems) New Facebook, which is much more usable.

I guess that I'm an old fuddy duddy; I use neither. There's too much out there on the Internetz anyway.

Basically I never meet people on a social level via the internet. I already attract enough weirdo's in some places that I go. However, I do use the internet (not MySpace or Facebook) to meet people on a professional level in the world of radio. A few of those people have become acquaintances and a couple are now friends. I have to thoroughly check out someone before I'll let them into my little social circle.

I prefer Facebook exclusively. It's cleaner, more "organized", and easier to make friends on.

I'm 25 and I use neither, even though everyone I know does. I guess I have never really felt compelled to put my daily life on the internet.
