How to download Adobe Flash Player from Firefox?
Had no problems downloading it from IE, but won't let me from Firefox?
Why is that?
I got a respond stating that i needed to close Firefox before i can download
flash player.
Anyone have any simple solutions to this issue.
Thank you.

Go to: Adobe Flash Player
On the right side below Next Steps click on Download now. Works for me. FF 3.0.5

Save the installer onto your desktop, then close FF. Now run the installer. When done, open FF.

I know this sounds dumb, but how do you save the installer to your desktop?
I have problems downloading it for Internet Explorer.
But was warned to stay away from IE!

If it asks you if you want to run or save, click save. Once done make sure it's totally closed - sometimes the download window will stay open.
IE is ok but you have to make sure it's patched. Big security issue with it last week, one of our guys got owned after he went to a site that had problems.

If you do the above and it says FF is still running reboot and run the installer.

GS = waste of money.
When you get the error about FF do Ctrl/Alt/Del to bring up Task Manager and click on the Processes tab. Click the gray area where it says Image name and look in the list for FF. If it's there. click on it to highlight it and click on End Process, then end it.
Try Flash again.
