Have a long list of Favorites, want to delete some from the Favorites list but when I press the Favorites toolbar, don't see any options for deleting individual listings. Help please? Thanks.

How about highlighting, right-clicking, and selecting "delete" from the menu?

1. Open Windows Explorer
2. Go to C:\Documents & Settings\<profile name>\favorites
3. From there you can easily delete, rename, etc.

When the favorites list opens place the cursor on one you want to delete, right-click on it (not left click, right-click) and then left-click on delete in the menu that opens.

When I delete a bookmark in Exploror 8, I get the little hourglass symbal and it stays on the screen for a minute or so before I can delete another bookmark. Why is this.

Thank You.

Hi jc3494,
Try running IE8 in No Add-on Mode. To do so: Go to Start -> All Programs -> Accessories -> System Tools -> Internet Explorer (No Add-ons) - If this fixes the issue, then go to Tools -> Manage Add-ons and enable the add-ons one by one to find which one was causing the problem.
Let me know if this helps!
Cheers,
Cassandra
