Network Issues??
I recently moved in with a roomate and im connected..
On my desktop with a wireless connection.
Im unable to sign in to MSN messenger or Skype.
My internet works fine otherwise.Any Idea's?

Or he could be blocking them using a service such as OpenDNS
|

I think your service will be blocked by your internet service provider so contact your service provider.

I don't know of any ISP's that block MSN or Skype

Well,If its any help when i moved in,i connected to the wireless network but..
Still no internet.I called AT&T and they changed my IP and internet works now.
Maybe i should check the settings on my roomies computer(firewall,etc)
I connect to online games,limewire,etc but no MSN Messenger or Skype.

Think i found the problem,Norton has always been popping asking if..
I want to block this & that(always harmless stuff)and basically a pain.
I removed Norton and MSN messenger works fine now.
I have other Anti-Virus software so no worries...
|
