I didn't say you couldn't, you can still get IE4 if you can figure out how to install it. I said IE8 has replaced IE7 in Windows Update.

I just downloaded IE 8 ; much more stable than 6 or even 7.

i have no problems w/ ie8, though i use safari 4 for 98% of my browsing because its a touch faster on my machine.
