Post Review of Advanced Internet Advisors

Could someone give me some advice about the company Advanced Internet Advisors located in Colorado Springs?..Has anyone done business with them?...Thanks

www.advancedinternetadvisors.com

Do you know any other place in Colorado Springs that I could contact to find out about this company?

What company or agency could I contact in the city to found out about this company (other than the BBB, since I have already done that).

MOD NOTE: the OP states that this firm [AIA] has contacted him, and feedyoursoul is requesting any additional knowledge about this firm, and/or how to find out more of their reputation.

Look familiar?

eWeb Advisors

I am always cautious when I see cookie-cutter web businesses. The only thing these people have done is take a template and change it some to be "different" from the next one.

I would avoid this. There is one exception that would change my mind. If it was found that eWeb ripped off the Advanced site instead of them being cookie-cutter then I would look into it further.

I Googled "Advanced Internet Advisors" reviews and found very little.

If they are so good at search engine placement why are they not all over a Google search?

I'm curious if anyone has given their money to this company. If so, did it generate any income from your website? This company is soliciting me for $249-$498 to create a web page and says Google, Amazon.com, and Hotels.com will pay me monthly checks for "clicks" on the site as well as commission checks on any sales. I think this may be a scam. Any one know anything about ADVANCED INTERNET ADVISORS (supposedly out of Phoenix, AZ), but the address for trying to get your money back was a Colorado address on their site (www.advancedinternetadvisors.com).

I advise the use of a ten foot pole.

The problem with any of these schemes is threefold.

1. You need a website
2. You need a LOT of hits on the site
3. You need a high percentage of those visitors to actually click on one of the links to get paid.

Ask yourself how many links like those mentioned do you click on?

Hey all, I got a call from these terds and they tried to get $498 out of me for their "platinum level" and I refused...the sales terd says he'll knock off over half if I sign up that day. Of course I refused and said that I needed to do some research. the sales terd told me to go to BBB online and of course, I already know that trick, these companies pay to have BBB say nice things...please! Take the advice of Tek Freek and use a ten foot pole, better yet, run away FAST........another tricky scheme to get your money. We are all in tight spots, I know, but if you want a legit business, Mary Kay or Avon is the way to go.......and remember, if it sounds too good to be true, it is. trust me...

To return to a point I made in a previous post.

One of the pros these people push is getting your site on the search engines. If you want to see the great job they do just Google their company name.

For that $500 fee you can expect the same excellent search engine placement...

One of my favorites and a good example-

Alexa - Top Sites by Category: Regional/Europe/United Kingdom ...

If you go to this link Advanced blah blah blah isn't listed!!!

I find it interesting that the OP has never posted again since starting this thread 2 months ago, seems my initial suspicion of SPAM might have been correct.

Initial, huh? So those initials are S P A M !!!

Still it's been interesting hearing from others who have (or not) dealt with them.

Default More info about Advanced Internet Advisors

I did attempt business with Advanced Internet Advisors (AIA), and they seem to be legit. Here is the catch...
Home - (this is the link to their website)

they want you to pay up front and they offer you three levels, they make the "Platnum" package sound so appealing at $499, BUT! if you act right now they will sell it to you for $249!!
I describe the three levels at the end of this.

I did not act now and I told the sales rep, James Taylor that if he could offer me that price today - he can offer it to me tomorrow. He agree and I told him to call me in a few days and allow me to research this.
so the research begins - and it was not easy.

I did the research anyway - and at the time (September of 2009) I could not find anything. I told my wife that they are either really new or they are REALLY good at getting rid of info about them on the web because I could not find ANYTHING at the time.
I looked elsewhere, the old fashioned way.

So I contacted (voice to voice) BBB in both Colorado Springs and Pheonix - niether had any complaints. I contacted the State of Arizona and Colorado - they are a legit business. They built me this site:
eSale-Fast -
I do not know if it is still up and running because I have requested a refund, which I have not received yet, read on and here is my story:
On September 16, 2009 I agreed to purchased this package after a month of research and discussions with James Taylor the sales rep - who in my opinion is a nice guy and seemed honest. I do believe that he felt he was selling a great product. James told me I had to spend NOTHING more and that within 1 month I would be generating $1000 or more depending on how well I followed the coaches directions.

James routinely told me our conversations were being recorded, so I routinely repeated the promises he was making as well as my objections and questions and also my terms. I was told several times that I did not have to spend another dime to make money off this deal.

Within 1 week I had my first phone conference with my "coach" Bob Green. I was subjected to an hour long sales pitch for advertising packages that start at $3,000 and top out at $10,000 (A YEAR!)

When I asked for the 'free' options - Bob Green laughed at me and told me nothing in life was free and that I had been lied to by James Taylor.

Bob ended the call - I never heard back from him.

I called back in and told them I wanted a refund and the first 'manager' I spoke with threatened that if my certified letter was not received within 48 hours, I would forfeit my refund.

She then made promises that she would get me the information I needed within the next 15 minutes to advertise my site for free. The information never came. I sent my letter certified next day and the post office confirmed delivery with a signature.

AIA still has not acknowledged receipt of the letter or discussed my refund with me.

I called back twice over the next two days only to be told by two separate people that they wish I had talked to them first and that the others I spoke with led me down the wrong path.

When I mentioned that I was going to file complaints with the State Attorney General's office and the Better Business Bureau and the Online Business Bureau "Angie" the manager I was speaking to threatened me that I "should not have done that" I asked why - she said that she may have helped me but "since you are reporting my company - you'll just have to see how this ends".

I am still not sure what that means but I am waiting to hear from the various complaints I have filed.

They tell you that google pays to advertise on your site, which they do, kind of - there are strict rules.
They tell you that travelocity pays you for people who click on YOUR link and purchase their travel through your site, which it appears they do. Never saw this work - but never saw it not work either.
They tell you that the big money maker comes from Amazon commissions, you have direct links to Amazon products from your site, this is true but I also never saw it work and it also has rules attached. You cannot buy from yourself. I shop at amazon many times a week - so that was a bummer.
