Anyone ever heard of Green AV virus protection.They tell me I'm under attack and need to download this. Should I do this?

Sounds like one of those rogue AV apps, download and run Malwarebytes, should clean it up, you want to remove it, NOT pay for it.

NHDave,I downloaded and ran Malwarebytes,and it did clean it up,thanks a million.I always come here with problems and always get the correct results,thanks again!...oh what else can it be used for?

Malwarebytes? Keep it installed and updated and use as a backup to your regular AV/spyware app. Run it if you suspect your infected. |

ok.....problems again,it came back,I ran Malwarebytes again and it didn't work this time,so I uninstalled and then reinstaled,still no good.What can I do now,this thing is so annoying,3 or 4 windows open up about every 3 minutes,then I always get an entire screen that sez this and any other site I'm on is a phishing site,then I have to go back to homepage and start over.

I don't quite know what I did,but it's finally gone.It took a couple of days but I did it,just wonder how long it will last though?
