fake pages about me online, hide IP, become "invisible
There has been a couple of fake pages put up about me on Facebook and My Space. I was upset a earlier today but now will wait for them to be taken down. I've googled myself and all kinds of weird stuff is pulling up.... I may just be paranoid, I didn't sleep well last night. I think I may be being harassed. I don't have a lot of proof but there is some really strange stuff online.

My firewall was down earlier today and I think someone got in to my computer. I think I am being watched or monitored somehow.
is that paranoid?

If you are paranoid, or concerned about privacy, this is a good thing. This means that anyone who actually is after you is going to get wrong or misleading information. In this day and age, wrong information is arguably safer than no information.

Paranoia is good thing. Just direct it properly and use it to motivate yourself to stay safe. I'm not sure how someone can "think" they "may be being harassed." In my experience, you are either being harassed, or you aren't. It's usually pretty obvious.

Well, there are several solutions for that. You can run Spybot and Malwarebytes, and they will search for any trojans or keyloggers that may have been installed.
If you are truly worried, wipe the drive and reinstall the OS fresh.

I've ran skybot it wouldn't remove the trojans. What do you mean Keyloggers installed ?

Anyone can create a fake Facebook or MySpace page without getting into your computer. |
