Arrow How much spam do you get every day?

I read an article somewhere recently that the number of spam emails per person has gone down. I don’t think that applies to me.

I get about 70-80 spam emails a day and most of them are either about pills, software or phishing what about you guys?

The spam to my main email address has decreased significantly. Maybe I'm down to about 25-30 a day on average. Far better than it was a few years ago. I think my web host has added a number of features that has dealt with the situation.

My Yahoo addresses on the other hand continue to get pounded by spam. I've "almost" stopped using them because of the nonsense that piles up in the inbox! I'll tell you - if I had a dollar for every dead relative who wanted to send me my "17,000,000 dollars US", I'd be a Nigerian Millionaire by now!

In my personal email I get perhaps 2 or 3 a week at most.

My company of 2000 employees gets 1 million + per day. Almost none of those make it through to users mailboxes.

I get close to a thousand a day between all my emails (I manage web servers and maintain sites for clients) but of that I only see maybe ten. Most get nailed in the filters.

In May of this year, spam broke the 90% barrier, meaning that less than 10% of all email traffic is legitimate email.

The number of spams has definitely come down in the last few years, as I think they realise that most people aren't that gullible as to pay money for goods that they are never going to receive.
I now only average about 2 a day, down from about half a dozen or so about 2 years ago or more.
They mainly relate to on-line pharmacy, particularly viagra and the like.
Most of the others have disappeared.
