Ever since they changed the settings, any time I post on someones wall it shows up on the newsfeed and I can't for the life of me find the setting to turn it off.

Account settings > Privacy > Applications and websites > what you share.
You’ll see a list for all applications you have on your account. You’ll need to ‘Edit Settings’ for each application on the list by choosing ‘customize.’ This allows you to pick who you want to receive what application posting.
Try a 'test' posting to see if this will works, though honestly, I don't think 'Walls' or 'News Feed' are affected by this as far as I can tell. You're gonna have to use 'send message' if you want to be sure of keeping it private from some.

If I want it private, I send a private message to the person. If there is someone on your newsfeed you don't want to see, you can hide them. Move the cursor over the post and click "hide"
