It looks like the Bing search results page now.

They seem to want to be more like Bing. Not only don't I use and therefore don't need that sidebar, what Google has changed too in other country versions of its homepage is removed the option to search either the entire web or pages from our country only. I often ticked the "Australian pages only" box if I wanted only local search results but now the google.com.au homepage doesn't offer that possibility any longer, which I find ridiculous. On the search results page, you can still click that but it's buried in the sidebar on the left.

With the firefox google homepage you don't get to see any of the nifty "holiday" Google start pages like for 4th of July etc when they change Google into the stars and stripes etc.
Yeah, I figured that out after I actually did a search. Nevermind.

We still get ten results per page, but it seems like less with all the clutter.

Now between the images and the sidebar menu (same as the top menu ) and search bars on the top AND the bottom, it's starting to swallow itself in redundancy.
Come on google, clean it up!

That's my question also, I don't see any sidebar. FF 3.6.3.

Was this thread started on April fools day?

Here's a screencap from the search results page

As long as it works, I don't care what it looks like. Sidebar doesn't bother me any.
