SMBL
the bid is $3.51 and the ask is $4.26 as the spread is wide in anticipation of the news. You can figure it should open in the middle of that range if the news is a non event.

50 dollar profit is not too bad
earnings: .02 before charges.
stock bid-ask at $3.62-$4.04 and it should open in the middle.
They re-iterated their sales guidance of + 2-4% = not much growth, so this stock should be dead money, stock goes nowhere for some quarters.

the bid-ask pre market is looking better.
L1 bid is $3.87 and the L1 ask is $3.88 = yesterday's close.
the bid is now $3.96 with someone wanting 400 shares at that price.
the ask is $4.26 and 500 shares are trying to be sold at that price.

I rebought 1700 shares at 3.95. Lucky I upgraded to margin account recently. I'll see this swell up to 4.5 and then dump it.

Their earnings actually turned out better and they have reaffirmed the FY10 outlook. Not too bad after all.

re-affirmed an outlook that is not good.
So, for FY10 the stock goes nowhere?

sell at $4.05 today if you can.

I'm taking a gamble here I'm gonna see this for two to three days and then dump it. Let's see how it goes. It just hit 4.05

By the way, can you shed your thoughts on the lithium ETF in the other thread?

.02 earnings with a $2.10 CHARGE (= -$2.08 reported)
....that is $132 million when they only have $14 million in the bank..........
$4.07 sell now for $204 profit.
