Hello, just doing some DD on LEE to determine if undervalued? I am sure it is but I am new to investing and want to gain knowledge. I am interested in long term. How can caluate the EPS growth rate percentage of LEE? I am trying to calculate a stock price valuation on this website Stock Price Valuation Calculator - Tools - Price Check - SmartMoney.com

Can I read the 10Q to determine this?

Thanks in advance.

Traditionally EPS growth rate as used in ratios involves stock analyst EPS estimates for the next fiscal year and comparing that with the most recently reported year. But a company like LEE has no real coverage by analysts so it makes it difficult to do.

Its not ideal, the point of the metric is to create a valuation picture going into the future. The investment world places little value in past results, the market is always forward looking. The reason why EPS growth is considered important is because you are buying into an earnings stream and obviously the higher it is expected to grow, the more valuable an investment in it today should be worth.
