If you watched the queen of Versailles, they had to stop building on the huge home in Fla. They were going down, and now they say they are back and building again. Is Westgate really back? I could buy that valuation of the propertys maybe has gone up but I highly doubt that time shares are selling again. Whats the poop?

I believe the Westgate time-share in Las Vegas (part of the Planet Hollywood Resort's new tower...formerly the Aladdin Hotel) was sold to the Hilton. While they lost a lot of money, they got some it back. I think this past credit bubble has taught many people that timeshares aren't for everyone and in some circumstances, you can't even give them away.
