I have more of a tax question but it relates to the Roth IRA my DH holds. We have somewhat of a dual residency right now, she spends a lot of time in MN and a lot of time in HI. I went to update her address to our HI address from our MN and my brokerage warned me there may be tax implications.
I am hoping you can help me determine, what kind of tax implications there will be. How do I know or tell if it will be a negative or positive implication?
Schwab online rep deferred me to a tax advisor...I might try again today and see what another rep says.
