I know 100k in the newsletter model i have been using since 1987 is now 2,000,000........
but we had 17 amazing years.. 1987 to 2003 averaged almost 14% a year cagr.
you know more than that because you use fidelity. im just curious what people that dont have fidelity know. my brother has had morgan stanley and UBS and he only knows his return when he asks his advisor.

The majority of my assets have and are in 401k plan so a 15 year time horizon isn't available. My old company merged with another and I don't have access to the old 401k data. Outside of that my investment timeframe is just now barely 15 years
Yeah, if that happens then great, but I'm not banking my retirement on that. If that happened i could stop right now and retire at 48
That is why I am bringing up that point. those were amazing years. the problem was the years leading up sucked and the high inflation and poor markets made it difficult to get any decent amount of money saved to take advantage of the time frame.
I lucked out as I sold my co-op apartment and had money to invest.
