You just spent the entire thread saying the stock is all that matters, the underlying company is irrelevant then you post exactly what Transplant and I have been saying for the past 6-7 pages.
huh , i am still saying what i said all along . the dividends do not change a thing and are a non event if reinvested or a reduction in your value for future compounding if not reinvested .
the stock will move on greed ,fear and perception , few care if one day they may pay a dividend if they are still compounding investors money nicely
as i pointed out our fidelity growth co invests in hundreds of large caps who pay little or no dividends ,hense the .09% yield and the compounding on investor return has been far greater than the s&p 500 companies for decades. it certainly is not the promise of a future dividend or buy out that moved so many stocks so far for so long.
i still have not changed anything i said. i think you better re-read it .
