I disagree. I think the funds that are more volatile than their category average, whatever that category may be, are going to do worse than those that are less volatile than average.

But yes, if we have World War 3, or even some slightly less extreme scenario, then I would agree.

we don't seem to see that because folkd don't seem to just bail from a stock fund. what you see is total portfolio bailing to cash.

all investments seem to go when the stock funds get sold off during volatile times.
