I would love to buy Uber shares, they are definitely the future. However, I expect it's valuation to be so outrageous by that time I most likely wouldn't end up buying any shares unless I was able to get shares before they go public.

With how much conflict they've encountered in trying to expand, lawsuits, and their ridiculous burn rate (wasn't it reported they were operating at a $470 million loss?), I really don't understand why VCs keep throwing money at them. I was offered an interview for one of their HQ positions. While doing research, I read all this info about their shady operations and could not in good conscience proceed. Cancelled the interview the next day.
