It is interesting for me to know where an average investor pick up all necessary information for his investment decisions. I personally use Google Finance and Yahoo Finance to get fundamentals (balance of sheet and cash flows) of a company and track this indices in dynamics, but for more accurate numbers it's better to look at 10-K of a company. Also I find quite useful resources as Finviz and Tradingview, which provide me with a basic technical analysis and it's quite an easy thing to sort stock by particular criteria you are needed. Seeking for news coverage on my portfolio I use CityFalcon where it's easy to create personalized watchlists. Do you have something to add to the above list and what is your most visited web for such purposes?

Ever heard of index funds???? Ever heard of the efficient market hypothesis? Stop investing in individual companies and use that extra time (from not researching stocks) for something else.

10-k? I gave up on stocks eons ago and only invest in funds. My primary sources of information:

Portfolio Visualizer to analyze efficiency frontiers.

Prospectus for the fund in question, which comes from the vendor. The annual reports and SAI (statement of additional information) are key for deep analysis.

Morningstar charting to compare fund performances. Very good charting tool, better than Google or Yahoo.

Schwab (where I have an account) has pretty good tax and risk analysis.

Fidelity for their RIP (retirement income planner) tool.
