So Tax refund is coming I think, it should only be around $2,000 as I didn't work much last year. My old 18k chain I bought for $200 broke a while ago, so I'd figure I'd buy a new one. It feels so weird not wearing one lol. I also have some interest in Rolex. I don't have any need whatsoever for $2,000 and my jewelry stock is hella low. I'd figure I buy something for $2,000. I'm leaning towards buying a Rolex and then a cheap $200 necklace, but I'm also leaning toward buying a $2,000 chain and using my current watch. My question is, what do you recommend, and does Rolex keep its value?
Seriously, you're thinking of blowing $2K on some bauble? I guess you don't need the small boost to your retirement account. What about a vacation? Fly to Taiwan or Costa Rica, and have a blast! Or go on a Canadian sailing cruise up the Inside Passage to Alaska, and have money left over.
I did my income tax last weekend and got to thinking about this old thread.
I wonder what the OP eventually decided to blow all that money on. Hopefully he put it into savings.
