If you believe you have some insight that the broader market does not (and that insight does not constitute insider trading) about both the direction and more critically TIMING of market movements in the near future you should be buying options on individual stocks, not 3x funds on sectors.* It's earning season so no shortage of plays if you feel the need.**

**I, meanwhile, am simply watching so I can move this quarter's cash pile into things I already have my eye on that have a bad quarter and overreact or a good quarter and don't go up much.
