I've been with E Trade for about 20 years. One thing I like about them is that they give you this security token, which every couple of minutes or so, generates 6 extra digits to add to your password. I don't want some Russian hacker gaining access to my account.

it isn't the foreign hackers you have to worry about .

fidelity has there own team of hackers who gain entry in to the dark net and look for anything fidelity related . they found my wifes pin and account number for sale and she never logged in only i do . .

I have both fidelity and schwab brokerage/ira accounts. I like schwab better because I find the online interface easier to use with more information for researching. Fees are equal. Also, schwab had the highest return from its robo investor in a study of all the currently available robos. I'm not sure about fidelity, but schwab does allow withdrawing from a savings/checking account into whatever funds you want.
