Noteworthy things going on right now...

1. NEM an altcoin for anyone who doesn't follow the space is up insanely today.

2. Bitcoin futures begin trading Sunday at 6PM, buckle your seatbelts

3. Litecoin is up 50% today!!!

4. Litecoin IMHO will continue to grow. Bitcoin transactions at this point in time are slow and expensive so people are using Litecoin to transfer between exchanges adding a ton of volume to the LTC market. Under $150 its a buy IMHO

Folks, I see some price difference between BTC price on GDAX/Coinbase and Asian exchanges. Are there any arbitrage opportunities here? Let me know your thoughts if anyone of you ever tried doing it. I know someone who does that all the time, its only past weekend I actually noticed the difference since I am not usually up that late..

It means that Bitcoin is about to get pummeled by the short sellers.

I played with arbitrage of btc a while back. One technique that helps is to be already preloaded on both exchanges, holding both btc and cash. This way you can execute both sides immediately.

You can rebalance later moving between exchanges, or you can rebalance in place when the difference disappears.

Hey Tony, I've made a few bucks here and there doing that but oftentimes by the time I make my move, by the time my coins transfer from one exchange to the next the markets have closed the gap because other people are doing this as well. I think the people making money with this use bots as you and I can't typically act fast tnough doing it manually. That said these opportunities do exist, even amonst currencies or cryptos and their tokens in the case of those where they are different there are opportunities ie Steem vs Steem Dollars
