Wow that's crazy, I always thought pretty highly of Bittrex.

That's unacceptable sending sensitive info to other people, however it sounds like it was an isolated incident and not like a mass 10,000 people data breach.

In regards to the market manipulation I couldn't tell from the article but is Bittrex involved in the pump and dump stuff or just a trader interviewed says he does it on Bittrex? Bittrex recently made some rule changes to stop market manipulators, alot of people are actually mad they increased order sizes.

All the small cap coins its so easy to do market manipulation. Every exchange has a pump and dump group. I have been late on this but if i was part of it earlier there was some decent potential..

I personally dont like Polonix and bittrex. Whenever there is large trade volume bittrex shuts down or some thing happens. I am waiting to be verified by bitstamp. So far i am happy with Binance.

HitBTC has been pretty good for selling futures of forks. On that topic do you know if SuperBitcoin and/or Diamond will actually roll out wallts and be put on exchanges? I doubt much value there but free is free.

I've always been curious to find a pump and dump group to see what it's all about, I dont think I would trust joining though, I'd be worried I'm the sucker

Nope didnt hear about super bitcoin or wallets on exchanges. That would be good idea though. I just dont have time for day trading. Now if there is a good bot to invest in i would do it.

I am thinking about opening our own mini thread here about what coin to invest and why? It would help folks what do you say?

If you wanna avoid giving ID and such you can buy on localbitcoins or Coinmama and pay 15% to 30% premiums and pay with credit card or Western Union with less verification.

Gemini si the second best to Coinbase but they will require you verify yourself

Bittrex is a great exchange but you need to first have Bitcoin to buy altcoins on there, you can't buy anything with USD. You need to buy on Coinbase, Coinmama or Gemini and then move the BTC over to Bittrex. They are secure but use 2FA or two factor authentication ie Google Authenticator
How does Coinbase get away with not having to require drivers license for new members?

It's been so long since I signed up I don't remember what they require but maybe your limited to $100 a day or a week. They are pretty stringent on KYC/AML stuff which many people complain about. While crypto is the wild west any exchange dealing with USD and accepting bank transfers, credit cards, etc has to follow all the same rules that a bank or credit card company or western union would. I'm guessing very low limits without DL

$10,000 generally speaking is a lot of money, however considering Bitcoin was within a few hundred bucks of touching $20,000 that potentially is only half a Bitcoin
