The stock market needs to take a breather after rocketing straight up for a month.

Everything will be okay.

Did you Hedge for this? About a month ago I sold 50% of my stock portfolio and placed about half of that in an inverse ETF, the rest is earning some interest while waiting on the sideline to buy back in. I didn’t touch my other investments.

You? Are you riding this out? Did you already sell? Are you selling now or maybe buying?
You buying any gold and silver?

I'm waiting for one more confirmation, then I am liquidating even more.

I've been taking profits off the table over the last quarter and trimmed my winners in half during yesterday's opening. The technicals in my winners looked a little exhausted and I thought I would rotate into different sectors in the beginning of Q2. I'm just annoyed that I didn't trim my MetLife position; I had no idea it would plunge the way it did. Some things are to be expected and other things will knock you on your butt.

and lock in losses. Even if you made major gains in the last few years. Liquidating some even if it is only a 5% drop from your high you have locked in that loss.

I set up trailing positions on all my ETFs to lock in a gain and minimize a loss. It seemed like the prudent thing to do at the time. The market will do what it's going to do, and if the share price reaches the stop it will trigger a sell. Nothing's gotten triggered, I give a wide enough berth.

I'm going to move that money to the next bubble. Feel comfortable holding cash at the moment though.
