It's safe to claim that the market will go up at some point -- especially after a drop.

if you are long term then that much of a forecast is all you need though...

I didn't want people to think that he meant 50% from February 2018. There's less upside now that the market has gone up (if you choose to heed Schiller's advice).

So what do we know about the OP link and the accuracy of Professor Shiller. Yes he was right and yes he was on target. Why do I say that? The article is dated May 23, 2017 and until last week the market had gone up how much since then.

In hindsight seems he had a handle on things. However to use that today is misleading,
