correct but i think if men are in the drivers seat they may be gun shy hiring women .especially attractive ones . you can't go a day without some allegations somewhere in the work place whether true or not .
fidelity operates by having a pool of approved stocks by their analysts . kind of a central core fund . most funds are run by teams who can select only from the approved pool .
the performance is ho hum and all pretty similar in holdings . you can buy so many different names funds and have so much over lap in holdings .
the star pickers are free free to do as they like and their performance has been excellent so i think if they take these top funds and dummy them down we will all be indexing because there would be little advantage paying for mgmt.
i can't see them doing that , i think it will bring a lot of hurt to their firm .

Good thing you're wrong about this. Time to get your head out of 1950s/60s ("we can't have attractive women in the workplace working with men" mentality).
Women continue to move into ranks of senior management, and have done so over many years.
Most US public companies have harassment policies in place and training for employees on how to report such an event. A lot of companies also have core metrics around diversity hiring. What happens in Hollywood is not changing the day to day hiring practices in Corp America.
An employee who harasses and/or assaults another employee is a liability for that and every other company, period. Not only at Fidelity but at any company. 'Star' status does not mean someone is allowed to harass and assault other employees, no matter the rank.
time will tell , this is again not my opinion but a lot of talk at hr dept's in large corporations . i certainly am in favor of seeing women grow in the work place but there is a lot of fear in the larger corporations starting to surface as this has become the field of choice now for the old ambulance chaser attorneys
It seems that there are issues on both sides. Men can behave crudely. Women often dress like whores even in the workplace. Some men just have a hard time ignoring women who walk around on high heels, half nude and with gobs of makeup.
Wow. Just, wow. 2018 and I'm hearing this crap. Shame on several of you.
No one is advocating harassment at work. We've seen false accusations weaponized against individuals and companies.
In 2018 you're guilty as accused. We saw this start out a few years ago in the Colleges. Once a student was accused they were assumed guilty automatically with no chance to defend themselves.
Men cannot take the risk being accused of harassment. Even if innocent, it would destroy their lives and careers.
Hormones are the same. I was under the mistaken impression that brains and discretion had evolved. Stupid me.
Brains no the little one, discretion nah social media has changed that however. Remember these aren’t necessarily 2018/Me To behavior but previous being highlighted now. How will discretion evolve? You can easily read varying opinions on that including not hiring women which is a terrible alternative.
