In 2018 you're guilty as accused. We saw this start out a few years ago in the Colleges. Once a student was accused they were assumed guilty automatically with no chance to defend themselves.
Men cannot take the risk being accused of harassment. Even if innocent, it would destroy their lives and careers.

Respectfully and in terms of corporate America, a mere allegation is not enough to get someone fired. These kinds of reports are investigated, followed up on, corroboration is important. I sat right next to the HR group in a multi-billion$ pharma company, a specific department whose role it was to investigate employee complaints of harassment or conduct against the company's written policies. I wasn't in HR, but I was close enough to hear what was going on. Reports were kept private and no one's career was "ruined" for false accusations in the time I was there.
