cool

Brutal Day! I need a cigarette and don't even smoke.

I went on a buying spree today and hopefully picked some bargains, but only time will tell. Drives me nuts though when your limit order finally kicks in and the price keeps going down.
Oh well, hindsight is 20/20.

I have literally never heard the expression relating stepping in sh%$ related to good luck. Lol
Doesn't even make sense. If anything, wouldn't it mean/imply the opposite?

Yeah, I know the feeling. Bought some at 246 and kept going down...so I bought more at 245, and then more at 243.3 right before market close.

One of my ETFs got triggered and sold. Still a profit on it, so that's good.

I bought $10k worth of VOO today and $10k worth of VFIAX (MUTF equivalent of VOO). My hunch is that there is more carnage to come, we are not done yet.

Next 100 share of VOO purchase is triggered at $240. Looks like it's heading that way today....possibly....

I have an automatic investment occurring today. It happens every 2 weeks, no matter what. So I'll get more shares at a lower cost. The one thing I did learn well from prior crashes and everything in between was to keep my auto investments going, no matter what. Set them, fuggegaboutthem, and it will work out... eventually, with enough time. I do remain well-diversified, that is always an important component.
