I wish I had your self control. I tried to go with my smarts and luck years ago and got hammered. Now I go for leveraged ETFs and am always terrified of losing my money. I get the good returns with less risk.
Your problem is you don't want slow growth in a target fund or a sector ...You want a big hit and when you want a big hit......you risk TAKING A BIG HIT.
