Sometimes tight stops work against you lol. I bought YALA soon after the opening today at 11.15. I set my stop 1 cent below yesterday's intraday low which was 10.54. When the market started selling off, it went down to 10.48. My stop was triggered by 6 pennies. It's now 13.98.... UP 30%! Oh well, it happens occasionally.
Just bought 50 shares WSM at $108.86. This is a quality company that's doing all the right things. The valuation was right at a PE of 13.3, they're growing online sales tremendously, just increased the dividend by 10%, and reinstated their share repurchase program. They also have a very solid balance sheet and they're paying down what debt they do have. I also think the combination of quality brands, solid fundamentals, growing online presence, and their $8.4 billion market cap make this a prime takeover candidate.
This goes along with my recent HD purchase. HD will be a long term hold, WSM I will hold at least through the holiday shopping season and into next quarter earnings, and maybe beyond that. The consumer is strong, and stay at home spending trends seem to favor both WSM and HD.
