It's back on the table. Get in now (not that the short financials trade was ever off the table to begin with). I bought some USO and UNG this morning.

What makes you think commodities and financials will move in opposite directions?

gut feeling. uso didn't fare too hot today, but my stop loss is set at $42.00. UNG is looking good going into winter. we'll see what happens tomorrow. I might have to take some profit on my SKF trade too, but I don't know how the market is going to open tomorrow. With the sell off we had towards the end of this day's trading period, my guess is that we'll open lower and rally back into positive territory by mid day. We did this today, but it didn't hold up. If the recent lows don't hold, we could be going alot lower. there hasn't been the slightest bit of good news to rally on or else we would have pushed back towards 10,000 on the Dow by now.
