Yes it is worth if, if that is what you want. If you don't want kids then don't have them. I admire people that decide not to have children if that is what they want....children are not for everyone BUT when you do have your OWN child it is a completely different story (for most people anyway). The worst are the people who do have kids and complain that they are a burden, don't take care of them and do not give them the love and support they need. There are too many people in this world that have children and don't deserve it. They create a life just to ruin it. It is sad and scary. It is a really scary thought that ANYONE can have a child because we all know that some people shouldn't have them. So...if you don't want kids please do our world a favor and don't have them.

Exactly why I chose not to, and resisted many potential long-term relationships and stood my ground despite what it cost me. I don't want to be a parent, I knew this before I became sexually active, and I took it upon myself to make sure none happened. My parents didn't think before having kids; they just did it, incontinently, because it was what they were supposed to do. They had no business even being married, let alone being parents. I couldn't avoid all of their errors in life, but that one I knew how to avoid.

This is my opinion. Poor people DO NOT belong even having sex!!! I absolutely LOVE children, but at my income level ($19,000 a year), I will NEVER be able to take care of children properly. It is totally WRONG to raise a child in a low income household that makes them suffer. I am proud to say I am a 34 year old virgin, and at least I have been responsible in this factor of my life.

I took it one step further than you, but I commend you for being responsible nonetheless.

Still got to look at the pros and cons. Lot of people think people without kids are selfish? How is this possible when you don't have kids?

I think there should be a cap now on kids? World is populated.
Also run a background and health check on the couple before they can have a kid?

Anyone can have sex but poor folks should use protection.

I agree with your decision. What do you do for a living?

Security guard I agree that anyone can have responsible sex, but the only 100% way to avoid having a child is abstinence. The main problem I have is people having multiple kids when they can not afford it.
