I disagree completely that I've created more favorable odds for the kids at one school. I'm ok with only offering one foreign language although it would be better to have it from kindergarten forward. Students are fortunate to have two or three choices.

I'm not comparing classes for kids with the ability to achieve anywhere. I suspect the failure to offer more at the junior high level is a problem across the entire country. In the ICCSD, there would be kids who could achieve more in more challenging courses such as science and language arts/reading/literacy. Someday these kids may be competing against the best other countries have to offer and the U.S. should have more students who are capable of doing this. The after school stuff is good and fine.

I should have added that your comment about the GWAEA is correct. There's not a lot of public oversight or accountability for this entity.

Regarding the favorable odds comment, that was just about the chances of making an athletic team....which can be potentially different if the school sizes are different...I thought you had already said something similar.
