Default McClellan Heights area of Davenport.

Hi, We are thinking about buying a large home on McClellan Blvd. but there are many "for sale" signs in the area and I've read some rather disturbing posts regarding crime in Davenport. Is that why these big hilltop homes are available at prices that are rather reasonable, considering their size and amenities?
Thanks very much.

If McClellan Heights is that neighborhood Right off of River Drive, on the East side of davenport, that is a real nice upscale neighborhood. There is a lot of crime in Davenport, but its in isolated areas. If you head west towards downtown thats where it starts to get bad. McClellan heights is real nice, a lot of older 4 or 5 bedroom houses.
