DO NOT MOVE TO IOWA IF YOU CAN AVOID IT!! I wanted to live in Illinois but the taxes are thousands more. THE COPS HARASSEE PEOPLE IN IOWA. If the taxes weren't so high in Illinois the word Iowa would not be in my vocabulary. Iowa has a lot of bull**** laws were they can screw people over. It's so bad in Iowa I flat out refuse to even travel through the state. The only direction I go is out of the state and being a mile or two from Illinois it's not far otherwise if I had to live further in the state I just wouldn't live here no matter what.

Yep, been here 5.5 years, traveled around most of eastern IA at one point or another, and I've yet to be stopped by a police.
