Default QC Area wooded park where you can rent a pavillion

I know about Scott County Park and Loud Thunder Forest Preserve.

Looking for other options if anybody knows ang good locations. This is for an all day outdoor family get together / picnic in late July.

Prefer Iowa side, but anything close to QC or Clinton crossings of the Mississippi would be fine.

Thanks everyone!

Duck Creek Park in Davenport also has a couple shelters you can rent. Devil's Glen Park in Bettendorf might as well, although I'm not sure about that.

Edit: Late July this year might be real tough to reserve much of anything in the QC, with RAGBRAI and the Bix both happening hear on the 30th, and there's also a big train festival the weekend before.

Wow, totally forgot about RAGBRAI...

Even just with the Bix, a lot of groups have family or high school reunions that weekend when people are all in town for the festivities.

absolutely, completely, entirely, fully, thoroughly, utterly, wholly

Edit: I said something mean here earlier but then I realized that b.boris52 is a foreigner or a bot or something. None of his posts make any sense.

Devils glen has 2 shelters...Fejuvary has at least 3 and other picnic areas without a shelter, Crow creek in Bettendorf has 3 or more, middle park in bdorf has a few, credit island has several.

There are several other parks that have at least one shelter. Let me know if you want more names.

A good one no one knows about is down across the st. from Jefferson elementaty school in bdorf. Smaller park with a new shelter.

I recommend Crow creek park on Devils glen rd in Bettendorf, plenty of things for kids to do. Theres a public pool inside of Fejuvary park on Division st. hill. Throw the kids of few bucks and tell 'em to get lost.

Just saw the word 'wooded'.....Duck Creek, Devils Glen, Credit Island and Fejuvary are the ones I can think of.

Across the river is Blackhawk state park in Rock Island. Very cool park.

Crow creek is mostly ball diamonds and open grass areas but there is a fishing quarry and bike path in the back of the park, tucked into the little bit of woods it has left.
