Yeah I want to live in texas where there are so many farflungareas that allow things like Texas chainsaw massacre (Yes it really did happen) The Branch Davidian and such to happen. At least here in Iowa we know our neighbors no matter how far flung they are

Man, I bet that was a total scenery shock. Why did you move? Also, how much are the homes compared to Austin then in Iowa?

What brought you from Austin, tx to Iowa? I also have a lot more free time on my hands being I grew up in Silicon Valley. I do like the fact that everyone were I live wave as you go by. The farmers are very friendly folks. I have never been in or lived in the Mid-West until now. Many of my past boyfriends were from the mid-west and were exceptional workers. It sure has been a major change for me.

Have you thought about moving to Davenport or Iowa City? These are also very nice places to live. If you like culture, than I would suggest Iowa City or the surrounding towns. Wilton in the SE corner of Iowa is also a very well kept town with little crime if you like small towns of less than 3,000.
