Looking for apartments or homes!!! Help! (to rent, safe neighborhood, live)

So myself and two friends have been searching for 3bd apartments or homes to rent.... we have looked through almost everything( apartments.com,apartment finder, the newspaper.....ect...) We really can't find what we are looking for. We have specifics but i didn't think it would be that hard to find a place...and we are in kinda a hurry because we have to have one of my friends moved out of his apartment now so he doesn't have to pay for septemeber.

we are looking for des moines and any surrounding towns ( no more than 20 min)


here is what we are mostly looking for

*3 bed
*small dogs allowed
*washer/dryer available
*would prefer to only pay for electricity
*perferred to be very clearn especially the bathroom
* most we can pay is 900 or 1000
*SAFE NEIGHBORHOOD!!

So now that one girl dropped out of the deal we have new standards.....but still need help.


*2 bed room
*still want washer and dryer
*it isn't as important about the small dog but i do still want somewhere where i could get a pet eventually
* but now all we can pay is around 700

even if you just have advice it would be much appreciated!!

Try looking at the Wakonda village apartments located on fleur drive. There are 4 apartments per building, Laundry is in the basement along with extra storage. I lived there for awhile not to bad but not the best. your going to have a harder time finding anything for the $ 700.00 per month with everything on your list, but they are out there.
