Default Looking for land in Palo Iowa....

Would love to find a nice lot for sale in Palo, Iowa......a place to retire to someday. Anyone have any ideas......

Well, it's not a very big place. I would recommend contacting a Realtor and letting them know you're interested in something in Palo. It's an interesting choice for retirement, as it is going to be a bit of a drive from doctors and hospitals during the lifetime of anyone presently living, I think. I don't think there are any assisted living options there, either, and I don't know about nursing homes. There are no grocery stores; the one gas station and that's about it. I just think of it as a place that is a lot more convenient for people who regularly have to travel into Cedar Rapids, anyway, because they work there, than for retirees. Just a thought.
