We just recently move to Des Moines ... we are looking for a town to buy a house...( around $230 )My husband will be working in downtown Des moines
any suggestion will be welcome! we are looking for town that has good schools , safe environment , good parks and shopping places. someone suggested us ANKENY, CLIVE, WAUKEE ??? are there any other towns that we can consider??? thanks lm |

Ankeny might be a little cheaper than the Western suburbs, but I don't know that for a fact. Pleasant Hill wouldn't be too bad either. Pretty much all of the suburbs offer what you're looking for. |

In my opinion,these requirements can be choose,I'm afraid that there will be little choices for you to find such place,anyway,goodl luck for you1

All three meet your requirements. Finding a house for $230 in Clive might be a challenge, but seems reasonable in Ankeny or Waukee.
Ankeny will have the easiest commute to Downtown. |
