Hi I Was Raised In Pomery Iowa, Haven't Been Back Since 1994
It Was A Fantastic Small Town, With All Your Basic Small Town
Qualities, People Were Always Very Friendly, The School System Was
Fantastic, It Has Hometown Feel. About Anywhere you Look If You Would

Thank you so much for your reply! I am very interested in the history of Pomeroy as family lore has it that my ancestors on my mother's side founded the town!
I am not sure if you would be familiar with this information--but in any case I was excited to get a response!

Contact the Calhoun County Historical museum in Rockwell City. It is in the Old High School Building on what is hwy 20. They might be able to help you out. Alot of my family is from there, but they have desire to know that. I thought I would ask for you, since they are employed by the city and county there.
