Anyone know of a cheap apt or mobile home to rent near Des Moines (within 1 1/2 hour drive?)

If you don't mind El Salvadorians and Mexicans, there are plenty of cheap mobile homes located right in the heart of the city.

I don't much care who my neighbors are! I just need an inexpensive place to live until the home I'm buying is available (mid-late January).

If anyone has an idea of who to call/where to visit for an inexpensive place to live within 90 minute drive of West Des Moines, let me know.

Check on Craigslist, or try desmoinesregister.com and search the rentals section. That is the website to the newspaper, the Des Moines Register.

You don't need to drive 90 miles either, there should be tons of rentals on the two websites I mentioned.
