We need help in deciding on a place to live. Please if you know of as many good and not so good areas in which to live in the Sioux City area, please share them with us. We need to be with in 35 minutes of 51105 or closer in any direction from that zip code. So NE and SD are
definitely included in our options.
We hope you can help because we need to find a place to rent and move into sometime between Jan 1st and Jan 11th.

Are you looking to rent an apartment or a house? Be very careful of ad's on Craigslist. People have been posting ad's for places they don't own, of course they want ya to send them money. They run these scams all over the country. There are some past threads that touch on housing. There are some apartments in Dakota Dunes, SD, you might like that area. The northside of town is nice, over around the mall and that area there are some apartments too.

Off topic of housing but still a consideration when looking for a place. Check the crime stats as you look for places. For some reason their stats weren't coming up, but maybe just a glitch. I would also check the state sexual registry database prior to committing to rent a property. Ya don't want to end up living next to a perv.

I forgot to include that a house is definitely our first choice, we will rent an apartment if we have to but we would really like to rent a house. We are using Craigslist, Realtors and this website:
