Default green object in sky

I was visiting family in jefferson south dakota and seen a green object in the sky.When I mentioned it to a family member they said that something simular was sighted in Hinton a couple of weeks back.Did anyone else see this?

It wasn't the northern lights, was it? They do come out this time of the year.

it wasnt northern lights-this was more of a ball shape and didnt have a trail behind it

Comet Holmes is out now, which appears (to me) as being green-ish.

pretty sure it wasnt the comet,it disappeared at a 45 degree angle from the ground.my brother was ridding in the car with me and his son was at the house and we all describe the same thing.Still have no idea what it was.

It had to be a UFO then. They are all over the place here in Lake Havasu.
Not really, its Military Aircraft. That might be what you saw.

i live in Germany and saw the same green object, late last night.
no trail, no noise. just thought you may find that interesting.
