I moved from Omaha to CB nine years ago. My taxes at that time were the same as in Omaha. However my house in Omaha was a 1000sq.ft. split with 1bath and a one car garage. In CB I have a 2000sq.ft. house with a 3 car garage and 2 1/2 baths. The taxes have gone up in the last nine years by 500.00 but are still much less than Omaha. In fact, this last year they went down!! Not only that, the car taxes are less. Gas is less too and it takes me no longer to drive to work as it did when I lived at 156th and Q in Omaha.Im am very happy and safe in CB!!!!!!!
