There are two kinds of people like Ronnie. 1 - Those who feel they are persecuted against no matter how jaded their perception of reality may be. 2 - Those who feel the need to defend minorities at all cost right or wrong as if they are waiting for the minorities to put them up on a pedestal to thank and accept them. |

Ok Genius. I never said I supported ALL illegal immigrants. If they want to start deporting them start deporting the ones in prison/unemployed/abusing the system. I don't think it's right that Illegal Immigrants who have held jobs for years in America and had money taken out of their paycheck for taxes be deported before illegal criminals. It's even worse to see a kid get deported when he's been here his life (didn't come here on his own choice) and has gone through American schooling, it happens, and you probably applaud it, why because he is technically "illegal" although he's probably less ignorant than you.

OK Genius, Taxes? LOL. Yeahhh, to pay taxes you would have to have an associating Social Sec. # to go with the employee otherwise it would make no sense to pay the taxes. The government might say, hmmm...Jose Rodrigo Martinez wants to pay taxes but who is he and why is he paying social security and income tax without a soc. Sec. #? Unless however, that 'employee' was using some other legal citizen’s soc. # and name and if that is the case, HELL FREAKING YES, DEPORT the CRIMINAL IMMEDIATLY!! |

One thing to remember about Ronnie is that he likes to sling mud at those who know what they're talking about.
Ronnie, why don't you go spew your garbage someplace else and lay off the Iowa forum for awhile. In case you haven't noticed there are actually other forums on this site that you may enjoy trolling on as much (if not more) than this one. |

I agree with you. Since they all abuse our system by coming here illegally in the first place, I think that pretty well covers it. Oh, I also like that part about how the children of illegal immigrants are probably "less ignorant" than us. I just thought that was kind of funny. Once again, where are your qualifications that put you on a higher level than everyone else in Middle America? |

All I'm saying is there needs to be some immigration reform to make it easier for those who want to work to come here LEGALLY and be given a chance to prove themselves in America. The law is inherently racist in the respect that only a doctor from China or India can get into this country legally nowadays besides a refugee. We used to take immigrants by the boatload for most of the early century and now we don't want these immigrants because they don't look like the majority of America, although many of them do contribute to the American economy.
What'd you like to see is a Gestapo-esque sweep of every Illegal and have them forcefully thrown into buses and dropped off at the Mexican border with nothing. Innocent kids will die in the process being left in the desert in 110 degree heat with nowhere to turn, of course you think that is suitable punishment for being here "illegally". Chances are that is not going to happen, but you can be as racist as you want in the process, so enjoy it while you can. |

I agree that it should be easier for people to come here legally. I know a lady from Belgium who has visited Des Moines a couple of times and wants to move here with her family. Her husband is an accountant and I forgot what she does. They have three kids. The immigration people told them they couldn't come to the US because "we have too many accountants already". Come on....

That's not true. I wouldn't mind giving them a "I went to the US and all I got was this lousy t-shirt" shirt or a snowglobe or something as a little momento of their time spent in the Estados Unidos. |

With all the socio-economic problems and a decaying middle class, forgive us for not wanting millions of illegal’s here abusing a system which most LEGALS can not afford themselves. I think they do need to find a way to give amnesty to SOME illegal’s who can prove they have been a productive member of American society (with the exception of paying taxes of course) during time spent here. No criminal record, steady job,...etc. It's people like you who label the majority as racist and expect favors in return. |
